Historic League - Starting in 1969 needs a handful

Website is going up:

Basic rules can be found here:

http://tonydarmer.com/MLB/forum/main...s-and-settings

The rules are pretty self-explanatory but the idea is it is a historic league that will be starting in the 1969 season, the reason for the 1969 season is not only is it the first year for Kansas City Royals, Montreal Expos and San Diego Padres- BUT it is the only season that the Seattle Pilots ever existed.

I know a lot of you guys want Modern Leagues - but this is for those that may not - checkout the rules and signup if it sounds interesting

Surprising that some of the better teams are still open:

TEAMS TAKEN

AL East

Baltimore Orioles - Open
Detroit Tigers - Eric Fulling
Boston Red Sox - Open
Washington Senators - Open
New York Yankees - Steve Strzepek
Cleveland Indians - Open

AL West

California Angeles- Tarmer

Chicago White Sox - Open
Kansas City Royals - Open
Seattle Pilots- Open

NL East

Chicago Cubs - Open

Philadelphia Phillies - Open

NL West

Will DH start in 1973, or No DH at all. Also, is that a current list of teams available? I can be contacted at tem316@juno.com.

Having been born in KC and learning baseball going to games of these same expansion Royals with my mom, I am interested in taking over Kansas City.

A few questions to help explore further:
Basic rules say full scouting system on with accuracy set to normal. Does this mean we all have to rely on OSA scouting or do we hire our own scouts?

Since there are no potential ratings, do players in the draft come with high school or college stats to go along with the short scouting reports? Being historical players we may have a decent handle on the real life value of players, but these could be very different based on sim engine.

Will Seattle move in 1970 as in real life or can the owner keep them ahistorically in Seattle?

Will future expansions happen as in real life?
