Player unhappy w/ Number - which he wanted

This has happened twice to the same player - Kasperi Kapenen (PIT)
I got a message he wanted #24 and I agreed (no one else had that number)

Now it says he is unhappy "new number refused". Is there a way I can edit something to fix that since I gave him the number he wanted?

Thanks

Hmm, the #24 request is normal, that's his preferred number in the database, so he should recognize that he got the number he wanted. Could you upload the save (uploading instructions here) and we'll take a look? I'd like to see what exactly went wrong there.

There's no way to undo the happiness effect, but it's fairly small and won't make a huge difference in his performance in the long term.

Unfortunately, I've saved over it since then (he has since turned happy).

However, it happened twice (I had to restart) so it may be easy to re-create?

I've tried, but it doesn't seem to replicate; if Kapanen makes the request and I give him the new number, there's no note in the Happiness section of his profile indicating he's unhappy because of the number.

Just an FYI - Kapanen has long since retired, but I've noticed it with other players over the seasons.

Since you said it's fairly small and won't make a huge difference in his performance, I wasn't too worried about it, but did want to note it wasn't an isolated instance.

edit: of course the player in question was just waived by my team right after I posted this and picked up. Apparently he got a new number and is happy now, even though that's not his preferred number.
Mads Kristensen #14 (preferred #16 which is what he had on my team)

As a side, I had him on the trading block and the (TB) flag seems to have carried with him to his new team. Surely they wouldn't have claimed him off waivers and immediately added him to the trading block? Pretty sure I've noticed the TB flag carrying over before too.

Yeah, that shouldn't be carrying over, we'll check it.
