Is there any way to alter players "expectations"?

Is there any way to change how players react to their place in the lineup. For example I currently have 4 players on my team who have an expectation of "middle of the lineup" and none of those 4 are my best hitter. I feel like I should be able to put those players in the leadoff spot or the 5 spot and they should be happy with it. Is there any way to alter this?

You do know middle of the lineup would be considered 4, 5, 6 batters roughly? 1, 2, 3, is top of the lineup and 7, 8, 9, is the bottom then 4, 5, 6 would be middle of the lineup.

On this subject, kind of, I've noticed quite a lot of players have "no expectation" on their page, but then have low morale for "Role on Team". Which is not at all useful, because if it says they have no expectation then I don't know what they want.
