PT 20 no longer available

For those that bought ootpb v 20, PT is no longer available to play.
Limited shelf life

Is 22 worth it?
I hated 21 PT and reverted back to play PT 20

Perfect draft is a fun addition. Great time to join and do live missions.

Agree. Does the game now have a shelf life? I likeed logging in to OOTP 20 to see what is going on.

What is the shelf life of OOTP 22?

I ask because it isn't fair that we have to buy the full game every year when all we need is an update. Except for graphics, the regular game can't really change (Ruth stats should be the same in OOTP 20, 21, and 22). So, all we are geting is really a new OOTP perfect team and a few little tweaks.

2 years...
PT 21 will shut down about a year from now

And the game isn't just the client on your PC, it's also the back end servers that run it. Usage rates for the old versions plummet. Look at the AH for PT21 now. It's just about dead. The overwhelming majority of people who are there check in maybe once or twice a week, but that's it.

RIP. A lot of fond memories from PT20. The last version in which it was relatively easy to win perfect titles.

According to steam I played 2027 hours of PT20. "Limited" indeed.

Yeah, I'd say I got my $40 worth

OOTPGO will be a great addition to this version. When it comes out?

Just as with other PC/console sports licensed franchises, what you are paying for is primarily the current season roster update. I would suggest the price is not actually unreasonable for that, in view of the fact OOTP (or the Korean outfit that now seems to own them) needs to make a profit on the enterprise. Despite the high regard in which the MLB seems to regard OOTP, that license will still not be cheap.

Actually, for some reason, stats and values can change considerably among even historic players. For example, I've watched Martin Dihigo move from an 89 in 20, through a 90-something in 21 to a 100 card this year. New research? Player feedback? Different opinions? Who knows?

I can't agree I am paying for a full game just for a season update.... IDK. I do agree with the guys having oddly different lvl like M.D. going from 89 to 100. He is not a Babe Ruth, not a Ty Cobb. Not even a Jackie Robinson. Seems like there is a lot of random going on just to make a $
