When he hits 'em, they stay hit...

Only in Class A, but still...

101 hits in the season, 69 for home runs - ISO of .650. and with a not-too-shabby .305 BA. In other words a SLG of .955.

IRL all-time record for ISO is Bonds in 2001 with .536. SLG same guy, same season .863.

Amazing stuff.

Actually it's 111 hits and 72 home runs for a .302 batting average, .918 slugging percentage, & an ISO of .617, if you include his time in Class A Advanced

Now you listen to me! This is my last shot at a winner and for some of the younger guys it could be their only shot. I don't know what happened to you. But if you ever, ever tank another play like you did today, I'm gonna cut your nuts off and stuff em down your f***** throat! - Jake Taylor, Major League

What does he have to do to crack the high minors

GM: Hey, tell me your thoughts on CF Gill on our A-ball team?

Scout: He looks like a possible masher to me. Could be a fearsome slugger. He's clobbering the ball all over Class A parks. With this many taters, he should be at least in AAA to challenge his bat skills and see if his power is just because he crushes raw pitchers.

GM: Really? How many homers did he rake?

Scout: *checks his Surface Pro* 69 home runs, slugged .950, hit .305.

GM: 69. Nice.

Scout: Think we should move him up?

GM: Maybe if he breaks 70, we'll move him up. And he has to get those K's under 100.
