Game crashes after January 25th 2024

Anyone else have this issue? I'm unable to advance past Jan 25th 2024 no matter what I try.

I'm not sure what could be happening on that date, but if you can upload the save (instructions here) we'll take a look and try to find the problem and fix it for you.

Seems to be a problem with some of the NHL schedule data being corrupted, it even crashes when I just try to take a look at the schedule. But we're going to have to dig into this a little further to see exactly what's going wrong. Pretty likely that we'll be able to fix it, though.

No worries, take your time. I was worried that one of the player photo mods I added may have messed something up cuz I've never had this happen in any save file before.

An update to this: I'm in the preseason and it now starts to crash on Sept 22nd 2024. The World Cup Group Stage just finished so maybe it has something to do with that scheduling?

I've uploaded the save as TorontoMapleLeafsCrashesSept22nd

Sorry about that, we'll check it again. I don't think it's necessarily the World Cup, though, or anything game-related, as it's crashing on the attempt to advance to the next day after all the games are finished.

Looks like it's a combination of the Manage Lines option being on for the Marlies and your roster situation - you have 3 goalies, all contracted to you, on their roster, and two of them locked in the lines. The AI has a safety check (that we probably need to disable when line control is on for a farm team) that sends extra goalies down, and it's trying to get rid of one of your dressed goalies, since Wall, the scratched guy, is significantly better than both of them. That breaks the lineup, causing the crash. If you send one of those 3 goalies on the Marlies down to Newfoundland, re-doing your goalie selections if it's not Wall, you'll be able to continue.

Wow, that's very interesting. I should probably disable that haha, I never controlled the Marlies anyway.

Ah, that one was simpler - clicking the back button/hotkey at exactly the wrong moment will corrupt the rosters in the game currently being played. I just shared the fixed file with you on dropbox.

Ahhh okay, I've noticed that I have accidentally done that on occasion but this is the first time that I messed up so bad it broke the game haha.
