Keyboard issue

Just started playing with 2032 on a brand new computer.
For some reason, the alternate number pad on the right side of the keyboard doesn't work.
I have to use the number keys over the letters.
I am sure there is a workaround, which I knew in the past, but I have forgotten it.
Anyone remember what it is?

I believe you need to hit the number lock key on the keyboard to use the pad on the right.
