personal reasons

How does the game handle a player who wants to leave the game for an undetermined amount of time for personal reasons?

Example. Adam Haseley wants to do this. I can't put him on the injured list and if I just send him to the minors he will still be playing. How does this work out?

There's an "undisclosed injury" that gets used (it occasionally happens within the game, too).

If you wanted to edit this in on a player, add a new injury and use "undisclosed injury" on the diagnosis and set the number of days. And leave the "day-to-day" box unchecked so he doesn't play.

I do 60 day DL with injury either restricted list or personal reasons. But you have to be in commish mode to edit this

Haseley

BTW my son and I were just on the phone speculating as to what is up with Haseley. The team is being very circumspect about the situation. So much so that we’re worried about “Haze” as a human being, more than when he might be back with the team. Hope he’s okay. Baseball is secondary right now.

I agree with you. Personal could be anything. Hope it all works out alright. He has a real nice swing and I'd like to see him playing.

Ty Cobb had unexplained absences, too. They didn't seem to hurt his career too much.
