Passed balls & wild pitches

Is there an area where i can adjust this? Just played 3 games and there were over 12 passed balls and wild pitches between the Tigers vs. Twins, Tigers vs. Indians...each team had the same issue. Wasnt tied to just the Tigers

League settings>Stats&AI

There’s a modifier on the right hand side.

Also be aware before you change settings it’s 3 games. There are 2,240 total games in the season. 3 of them is just over 0.001%.

As I said in another thread come back when it’s 30 or 100 games and then we can tell if it’s a problem or not.

It did seem that at least on the patch I'm playing, there were too many WP's and PB's. That could be some sort of mistake in the game's algorithm for it or something. But thankfully that was easy to fix by going into the league adjustments settings.

On the settings screen is the higher the number - less frequent or lower number? Didnt want to screw it up. Looked through the manual and no luck.

Thanks for this. I've had the same issue. Four pass balls or wild pitches in one game is a little too much for me. Cheers!

As has been noted, sample size. It's baseball; one game with four passed balls/wild pitches can certainly happen in real life...

I've actually seen it happen during the 1990's when the Astros were horrid.

Be careful!!!!

Make sure the only number you adjust is the LTM, the league totals modifier. Only it works as described above.

might want to look at catcher ratings and see how low they are and if they are low you would indeed get wild pitches and passed balls much more often than a catcher who has a significant better ratings
