Thumbs down on name game collection timing

There are a lot of positive upgrades in PT22, but the timing of the name game collection was a negative. All this did was increase the price demand of live players to complete the live collection. It serves as an offset to the live collection, making it more costly. Name game collection could have waited.

It's really not that big of a deal

Just my 2 cents. Live bronze players are now double the price or more due to duplicate collection timing, It's a shot against FTP.

I get what you're saying, but as F2P myself, I feel like the name challenges are almost like a "bonus" while I'm chasing live cards. I haven't specifically tried to finish a name challenge, but occasionally one will pop up as finished while I'm collecting lives.

Then again, I pulled a Murray perfect on one of those standard packs when I was halfway through my collections, so I'm kind of playing with house money now on the sell.

And I did notice that the bronzes doubled in price this morning, so I don't think that was related to the collections since I've been working them all week. I got the impression that a high roller decided to sell a bunch at once and is trying to collude the market a bit. I'm still snatching stuff at half what most of the bronzes are listed for, but it's surely an extra headache.

As F2P, I'm very happy to sell my "name game" cards to eager buyers at 200 or 300 points. Let them open packs! I'll collect that pack in June when the hub hub focuses on something else using OPP, (other people's points). Ditto, for the live missions in general.

I doubt that the Name Game missions are driving prices up much. I can't imagine many people are plunking down 3-400 for a card just to complete a mission of a 1000 PP pack.

I think a bigger driver are some of the teams with only 28 players to get 26 out of.

Yep agreed. I completed all of the current collections and the by far most annoying process were collecting required silver cards from a few teams (Dodgers and Cleveland come to mind). Maybe the first 2-3 days the bronze cards used in the name game collections drove the price up but I didn't really notice.

The silver cards are the big PITA though, usually more expensive than the golds or even some of the diamonds. I figure because a lot of gold packs were given out as bonuses there were quite a bit more available.
