Promotion bug?

Historical league play as GM only, starting in 1918. No issues until after 1932 season and change of owner (team sold). Then, in off season was “promoted” from GM of the MLB team (Red Sox), to manager of Hazelton in the NY-Penn League. This despite my .605 winning percentage as GM, 8 straight AL pennants, and 4 WS titles.

happened again, in a new game. same basic set up, but no ownership change, just the 32 off season. the last save files are here:
