Game went to black screen after minimizing

Game went to Black screen after trying to restore from minimizing. Had to task manager to close program. When I reloaded the game the save had me without a job at the start of spring training after having played 2 regular season games and starting the game as the Yankees Manager and GM.

Unfortunately, this resize problem seems to be very rare and so far we have been unable to reproduce this. So for now, I suggest you restart the game after chaging the resolution in the settings dialog.

I don't think it pertains to changing the resolution. I've encountered the same issue when simply trying to alt-tab to get to the desktop or an Excel file to look at draft notes, etc.

It has more to do with going somewhere, the desktop, another app, etc and trying to alt-tab back to OOTP after. I reported the same bug in 21 but it was not responded to. I just save before I attempt to go back and forth between apps or the desktop so I don't get a crash without a save point.

Having the same issue, as i'm updating pictures - jumping from mlb site back to the editor in OOTP, the screen goes black. I can't even X out, need to kill the program with the task manager. Using latest build 34, never had this happen with ootp21

Any info you guys can give us about your specs will be helpful. OS, in-game resolution, system resolution, if you are in full-screen or windowed. If changing any of the above fixes things or not etc.

I only play windowed, clicking back and forth between the MLB site, i can't say for sure if i accidently full screen the windowed view to make it happen. I think it happens though when OOTP is minimized

windows 10(latest build), 16 gib mem, 64 bit
i7-7700 3.60 ghz

2560 x 1440 resolution 60 hz refresh on geforce gtx 1060 6gb (latest driver)
