Tournament setup

Does anyone have an idea if I can change out the nations in this picture provided? I created a fictional world and I was toying with the idea of having a world cup/olympiad type of baseball tournament in my world. It is a 6 state nation and I wanted to have players play for their home state. I thought it was a pretty basic idea but I can't seem to change the nations represented in the setup. Anyone have any experience with this? Note: selecting my nation in the "Select Nation" field changes nothing.

In just the past couple of weeks, I started experimenting with a full-on world rankings system that includes earning points through international tournaments (Olympics, Pan-Am Games, Premier 12, etc.). The only thing I see different right away in your setup is I have "Fixed" in the Team Selection field. I have been able to select the countries I want to participate in each tournament.

Yea, i think they have to switch from "select automatically by talent" to "fixed". Otherwise I think the game picks the countries with the best talent.

Thanks to both rexrowland and venflaalachi. That definitely allowed me to switch nations. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a way to have players selected from a specific state. Bummer.

If you want states as opposed to nations, use the second line “Select Region (Optional)” and change it to US States iirc. Then keep Team Selection as Fixed and you should be able to make teams that’ll only select players from the specific states.

This only works for a U.S. state though. I'm running a fictional world. So I would have to find where the region list is located and edit that if it is at all possible.
