Big Time Simmers
I am not looking to join a league well not yet anyways, but I would like to visit some of your websites. I am looking to view fiction leagues with alot of simmed history or leagues that sim more than 2 months per sim.
Please post your league site. Thanks |

I don't think you are going to find a league that sims more than 2 months per sim. Most do around 2 weeks per sim... but maybe that is what you meant.

My league has a lot of history, if you're looking for that...
www.thepostgamereport.net That's the main site www.thepostgamereport.com/abl/almanac/index.htm That's the almanac, dating back to 1901. I haven't updated it to include last season just yet...I have to find Wallman's old utility first. -John |

Oh...as far as simming is concerned, we do 15 days per week (five sims, three days per sim).
You'll find that it varies for each league upon simming periods, but I've yet to see a league that does two-month sims. I don't think that league would be very fun for guys who pay attention to detail and enjoy micro-managing their teams (and most of the owners I've come across, no matter what platform, enjoy doing that). -John |

At the NBSL, we sim two days a week, 10 game days per sim...so every "real" week we cover 20 days. One month of games every three sims, or week and a half.
Just entering our 9th season, check us out in my signature.

QBA is in 1915, our 15th season.
We sim three times a week, started at 21 days per sim, eventually moved to 25 days per sim. http://qbaleague.com |

Two of the historical leagues that I am in sim very fast. QBA has been already mentioned and is a great league. NABL sims one month at a time. We finish approximately a season a month that include FA, draft, and the season itself. Link is in my sig.

The JOBL's a fictional league in our 5th season. We sim 10 days per sim, and you can find the link in my sig. Very good league IMO.

The FOBL is currently in ninth season. It's pretty unique in the fact that the financial system as well as free agency system has been competely de-linked from the OOTP engine.
Link to the league website in my sig, or if you prefer you can visit The FOBL's Fake Baseball Reference Site Last edited by PineTar; 04-21-2003 at 06:23 PM. |
