I've played since Perfect Team Started and the begining is great the end game is severely lacking especially after all the investments that had to have been made to get there. The problem is you get to a point where everyone has the same exact players and teams, playing each other over and over again.
I feel the leagues should be revamped to not allow duplicate players. So there are not 20 Face of the Franchise Pedro Martinez or Greg Maddux etc. I agree you need to own the cards but there should be some kind of either Live Draft after season or PC draft, where you rank your owned cards to be drafted at your draft spot. OR just any other idea to keep from having the break down at end game with all these same players, playing each other it kills the fun of the game i mean how many times can you watch FOTF Pedro Martinez face off against FOTF Pedro Martinez game after game or FOTF Warren Spahn etc. rinse repeat. League i feel to be more enjoyable and have a new feel every season should not have any or at least limit Cloned Players. My 2 Cents... |

This sounds like an interesting concept, but why do it just for the end game do it from the beginning. That way players get used to the concept early on.

I always felt that there shouldn't be a couple of specific cards for each player but rather you could get a player card from a random age in his career. You could get a 24 yr old Maddux for example, or a 35 year old version or anything in between.
Ideally, since there is an entire database of historical ratings, it would be nice if the players would age after each season. A lot more strategy would be involved since you would have to buy a young Cobb, Koufax etc. to have them hit their prime at the same time to have a chance to win a championship. Once your winning window is passed, you would have to focus on a rebuild. I understand however that people who buy packs wouldn't want to have their player become bad after a few seasons because of age. But it would get people to be more involved with their team. Right now, my team is pretty much set and I log in once a month just the see how my players did and that's it. |
