Update/modernize an old logo

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone here could update this old Lethbridge Mounties logo. Make it look more like a modern day Mountie, and maybe have a determined, 'mean' looking Mountie! lol! Just a cool looking Mounties logo. Don't seem to be too many good Mounties logos out there. Thanks!

For what its worth, this is what I used for a Mounties logo years ago. He does have a mean look though...

Thought I would give it a try... it's too dark for my taste... but it's the best I could do... I have very limited skills.

Maybe one of the good graphics guys can work with it and do it better... I had to use the black background to get the Mountie image to show up well.

If someone can lighten up the color on the lettering "MOUNTIES" on the Secondary and Primary logos... it might improve it... I don't know how to change colors.

Here is the color code I used for the town lettering LETHBRIDGE: 242, 182,0
