on the Mitten Baseball Federation, a mixed fictional/historical league set in the portion of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan north of M-57. League Structure is 2 subleagues with three 10 team divisions each and AAA, AA, and A leagues below it.

Like the UPBA, the MBF will be chock full of custom ballparks...but with more diversity, as I'll be tinkering with some of the existing stock of 3d parks. All the towns (I'm hoping—travel plans willing) will have in-town skyboxes for the stadiums as well. It's kind of an ambitious project, so I'm going to target release sometime over the winter.

Maybe the year after that, I'll do a Rust Belt League.

I'll drop a link here in the forums...probably in its own thread. Got a ton of work to do. I am NOT making the mistake I made with my UPBA...no challenge mode this time.

I'll be needing some travel time (a lot!), got 240 stadiums with pix/skyboxes/dirt/grasses to manage, field design...looking for some surprises too.

Progress continues on the Mitten baseball Federation. I've rolled in the UPBA as the other Major League. We're looking at 48 MLB teams, full minors—this is a big change from my original vision. It will start in 1890 and move forward. There'll be no expansion, unless you folks turn it on after the fact.

I'm having a ton of fun making this...and I hope you'll all enjoy the visuals as much as I am. 3d stadium developers...I AM snagging your excellent work as a supplement, as well as using the Construction Kit. Skyboxing is a definite, as are a few other improvements.

When all is said and done, I'm hoping this will be a vastly improved experience over the UPBA. Not being Challenge Mode will help folks a bunch, I'm certain.

Haven't forgotten about this...but with the holidays and family issues, I've been bogged down a bit. Also, got yanked off my icy front steps the other day (use some &&&&&&& salt, ya cheap...) by G'Kar and Na'Toth. Mrs. Cobb was policing me for a concussion and didn't allot much screen time...she's a sweetheart, but it was frustrating. Back on tasks now.

Johannesburg's home park comes to life in the East Coast Rookie League, the lowest minor league level of the Wolverine Baseball Alliance. Just couldn't get behind Mitten League as a name.

Before I forget...it's now 2 10 team sub-leagues with 5 levels of minors. Just worked better that way. If you're from below M-57...that's not going to happen until at least the next year.

working on stadiums & logos with 2nd degree burns. Suffice it to say I did something foolish while cleaning out the canner. Thank God Mrs. Cobb was about.
