Standard Game Crash

Playing through my standard game, was brilliant and ran like a dream at first, but now is crashing preventing any kind of progression. The crash happens when I attempt to simulate past a certain day or game, seemingly for no reason. I say no reason because when i restart the game sometimes it will let me through that day, then crash the next one. I've resorted to simming one day at a time and if it doesnt crash I save, and then sim another, and it usually crashes then.

I absolutely love this game and want to keep playing it, I just hope it lets me.

I HAVE tried the following
Verifying Steam file integrity for the game
A complete fresh reinstall of the game
Have all overlays disabled that could be causing a conflict.

Uploaded, zip is named the same as my username here. Also dunno if it helps at all but i started another save file in a historic game and its giving me the same issue. Although in the regular game i was only 6 years in, the historic is over 10 years in before the issue appeared.

It's crashing for me as well, although, like you said, it's not consistent. We'll have to investigate a little further to see exactly what's going wrong, but it's likely something that can be fixed in the save.

Well at least you are able to reproduce it somehow so thats always a good start. As i said it unfortunately is also happening in now any other save i create , just at varying points in the game. Hopefully if there is a workaround it works more than once haha!
