Youth development in European clubs
How does staff work for the affiliated youth teams of clubs in Europe that operate according to that model? I see that my club's U17 squad doesn't have a coach, and it has its own staff budget with money available, but I can't seem to hire anybody. Is it the responsibility of the youth team General Manager? Is my senior team's skills coach also working with the kids? Am I missing something?
The youth teams also have separate "team owners," which seems odd. |

Apparently I can set the individual training for all affiliated teams, but I can't hire staff.

They should just make NHL-AHL ect and the Canadian juniors until the euro system can be done properly. It's what stops me from buying until its better. Last edited by Rigafan; 12-29-2020 at 05:04 PM. Reason: spelling |

I also have the same feeling with OOTP. Playing MLB and its minors is a very fun experience but trying to play in Japan or other International leagues doesn't feel right still. Of course this is MY personal view! |

I play in European leagues a lot, so I would not say they are unplayable. Though it is true that the game is (understandably so) focused on the North American leagues. But still I very much hope that the European leagues get more focus on fhm8 (only in khl you can add teams for instance) and they surely could use some improvements to make them more realistic (for instance only very few North American AHL/Echl players are willing to come to Europe, so in year 10 or so leagues like DEL or EBEL - who in real life have at least 6-7 North American Imports per team - have many Russians but almost no Canadians/Americans on the roster).
