Introducing some sort of insurance system for injured players.
In MLB most/all of major team contracts are insured in case of injury - in OOTP this is not the case, so when a player is injured the team is responsible for paying the full contract value. Although the nerdy side of me would LOVE to see the full gauntlet of players taking/failing physicals, insurance refusing to cover a player and the team deciding to take responsibility eventually implemented, I think a first step would be to introduce a system where a team can spend X amount a year to cover X % of salaries over X amount in case of injury. This would be a boon to all teams, especially smaller market teams would may currently find themselves financially hampered if a big $ player gets injured and they don't have the space to scrounge for a replacement - plus would align OOTP further with the current MLB.
