Sorry bruce, from past experience I have realized that fictional leagues have a harder time holding my attention then leagues that start with real rosters. You league did look interesting though, hope it works...

Do you want to join a league using historical players?
If the late 70's era interests you, look at MLB77
The Commissioner fits your "dedicated" label as he has never missed a sim since the league started.

Hello I’m Mark Johnson you can just call me the S3Baseball League Commissioner. I want to see who would be interested in joining my most recent OOTP Project. The league is called S3Baseball League. It stands for Strike 3 Baseball League. I already have a site in the works and if I do say so myself, the site is off the hook. Now all we need is YOU!

Why join the Strike 3 Baseball League?
The S3 offers the most realistic option into the OOTP World. The league will be a 30 team league, using all the MLB Teams. The draft will most likely be a draft, unless most owners express interest in using opening day rosters.

League Fomat Info
The S3 uses Total Minors most recent roster patch for the league. We feel this is the most realistic portrayal of correct ratings. We also use Draft Dodgers face pack in order to have all player pages with their corresponding player’s picture.

Other S3 News
The S3 will sim twice a week, simming exactly two weeks at a time. We have a panel of three commissioners all of which make up a trade board. The commissioners are separated into a simmer, web site designer, and last but not least, the magazine writer. I feel having three commissioners is the best way to run a league. This divides responsibility within three guys, and does not leave one guy with too much work.
