Pictures in game

So, I am new to OOTP and wanted to know how in the world I could put real life pictures of players into the game. I sat and searched forever on google, on here, on reddit... and I could not find anything that would help!

So, since I figured it out I wanted to pass on my knowledge on how I did it!

So, I started off doing the random facegen, and yeah facegen is pretty cool but it really was not what I wanted. So, I thought it would be cool to go off, download baseball cards from an online database, and plug in them baseball cards except, when I tried... It didn't work!

So, if what I am doing, is what you would like to do (and yes it does take time) is find your pictures. download them, and rename them to, lets use Kent Hrbek as an example, Kent_Hrbek.

Make sure all of your players are named this way. with the underscore between the first and last name.

Next go under these file locations.

For picture when you scroll over a players name in players lists.

C:\Users\****\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball21\saved_games\####.lg\news\html\images\pe rson_pictures

To change your pictures in the players PROFILE and IN GAME you must edit here:

C:\Users\********\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball21\saved_games\##########.lg\news\html\ima ges\profile_pictures

****=Your user name on your computer
####=Your saved game file

Delete all files from these two directories. Next, place all your players pictures into these two locations. Now, if you load the game, and have selected under settings on the OOTP game settings (As shown in attached file), Search for Photo first, it should look for players photos and load it.


I now have pictures of players baseball cards in place of the facegen pictures in my game!
