Perpetual HS and College Draftees

Luckily, it is in one of my Custom Indy leagues .. so it's not a real aggrevation as it doesnt happen in my Top League..


But this league is seeing players remain eligible for the draft and remain ineither HS or College ...



I tried to reset the player pool origin to see if it reconfigures .. but uh ..

It's good to see that Ernest Thomas finally left college. I had been following his collegiate career for 19 years now.





Sorry, had to make a joke since I dont have an answer.

I would create custom feeder high school and college leagues for your custom indy league and turn off the automated creation or make more rounds in your draft, so that it has a place to dump all these created characters. It seems draft eligible players who dont get picked arent going into free agency and just get stuck in limbo til the next draft. So yeah Id create my own leagues to draft from or make like 40 rounds of drafts so the overflow can fall off.

Thanks, I have done this ... do you know what would happen to those perpetual schoolboys? Would they go to the Feeder league for a year then out.. or FA's?

They wouldn't be able to join the feeder leagues. You can set the age limits. In my high school leagues I use min 15 and max 18 and college min 18 max 22. This is also more immersive cause you get to follow a high school/college phenoms their whole career.
