Why I love this game

I’m playing a solo league and expanded by two teams
I took the Oklahoma City team as mine.

The first four years I totally sucked.
To give you a feel
Year 1 .210 winning percentage
Year 2 I improved by 35 games still way under .500

By year five, I FINALLY got above .500. Six games better than Pythagorean predicted.
And, finished 84-78 won my division but was bounced out by the Wildcard team.

The following off season I played it safe.
I added a couple platoon guys and picked up a decent number 1 starter on the last year of his contract.

Well, year 6 went sideways.
My best offensive player gets hurt in Spring Training misses fist month and change of season
My new ace Starting Pitcher refuses to resign and has horrible season to boot.

Long story short, I went 49-113.
But; that one season was fun while it lasted.
Back to the grind for me I guess.
