Lineup Changes I Can't Control!

I have never had this problem before. I am in the 5 th season of a historical sim, and for some reason when games are simulated the AI just takes the liberty of subbing in bench scrubs for three of my positions (CF, 2B and 1B). I have even gone to my lineup settings and chosen "Never Substitute" for these positions and that still does not work. Anyone know a fix to this? I am playing on a PC and am up to date on the version.
Thanks!

Are your normal starters fatigued or injured? Have you checked your depth charts against both right-handed and left-handed pitchers to see if anyone is set to play if your starters are fatigued?

Does your team have a manager who might be choosing lineups?

Beyond this, my only guess is that your team or game might be set up to allow the AI to make changes to lineups. But if you've been playing for 5 seasons and this has never happened before, that seems unlikely unless you accidentally changed a setting.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate the thoughts.

I had the same thoughts, and checked all of these things. My vs R and Vs L are all set to what I want and they are taken out even when they are not fatigued. I am the manager as well as GM and the setting is set to me controlling lineups. I have no idea but it is frustrating. Its also really weird that its the same positions over and over. Thanks

Have you tried this:

Activate commissioner mode and then go to your team settings and place a check mark in the box, deactivate commissioner mode.

Beware that you will need to keep track of your player fatigue and make the changes yourself.
