Rehab Start ?
Hello,
I have a starter coming off an injury. Is it necessary to send the pitcher to triple A for a rehab start? I can't seem to find a transaction button for this. perhaps I just demote to the minors - but he is a veteran who could refuse and he has no options. I cant seem to find anything in the manual about this. |

There's no set rule for it. If it was just 15 days, you're probably fine without a rehab start. If it was a couple months, you'll probably want to give them at least one. If you're on the injury list screen and right click on the player it'll open a menu. There's an option for Transactions, from that menu you can choose rehab assignment. If you've already moved them onto the active roster, you may not be able to do this. |

Thanks for the information.
Its actually a player coming off being on the restricted list. Michael Pineda's PED suspension. I have another pitcher that went on the IL so he slots in nicely. I saw the transactions button but only saw a "demote to the minors" - which caused me to pause. Thanks again , I'll throw him in there and see what happens. |
