If this thread is bumped, that means we have an opening! You can get to work right away and guide the open team in another fantastic season of ABL baseball!

This is a strong league with great GM's. We have a leadership group that keeps things focused and fun. And we sim like clockwork every TWO days (daily in the off-season).
We do not have many openings, but when we do they go fast so please inquire if interested. We have many or the original league GM's still in place.
We want smart, engaged GM's who will participate. Experience is great, but also can be earned as you go, if you put in the effort!

We use Slack for day to day communication, but forum for trade posts, archiving of important information, team write-ups and for the purpose of polling GM's on significant league decisions.

OOTP Version: Always latest - OOTP 21
League Time Per Sim: 7 Days (adjusted in post-season)
First Season: 2017
Structure: MLB Setup (players more and more fictional each season)

Notable Rules & Settings:
Contract Extensions: Controlled players - 4 years ML service before a multi-year extension can be offered
Ratings: 20-80 scale (just like the scouts)
Ovr/Pot: Stars
DH: Both leagues
Draft Lottery (10 worst records)
Scouts and Coaches OFF
The ABL will strive to keep our “house rules” as simple to follow as possible, benefiting both established GM's and newcomers.

Decent group of people but be sure to read the rules before joining. No trading of draft picks and media revenue will be reduced at the end of the upcoming season. Lots of tinkering between seasons makes it difficult to plan ahead.
