From what I understand, new versions of OOTP typically release just before the start of the real MLB season. For instance, OOTP21 was released on March 20, 2020.

No one knows anything yet about new features or visual changes, besides the developers.

You most likely won't hear anything about OOTP 22 until next year. You may get some replies like "working on this or that" in random threads but that will be about it.

Since this simulator is now owned by a completely new entity, I think nothing is certain at this point.

I do not think anything will change that soon. I have been here a long time I am sure that Marcus and Andres have vetted this company for allowing them to stay the same for as long as the game is profitable.

With that being said, we normally will get a new Forum thread neat the end of this year or the beginning of the next year. I am sure we will get teasers and what not until March. Rest assured, they are working on it. Just not telling us anything!
