Why Are Some Players Importing With Stats?

So I thought I solved this problem, but it's happening again. I am importing players from the historical database and checking off "include players(s) in minor league database". I am NOT checking off the box "keep selected season's statistics in player career stats" yet I am still getting stuff like this...
Any solutions?

Also, I named my league NBL, but those are not teams that are in the league, they are stats from real life that I don't want in the game.
