Need help with a little version problem

I just joined this league that is still running ootp4 while I only have ootp5. O.K. here's were the problem begins I downloaded their files and put them into my ootp5 and tried opening the league. Of course that didn't work and all I saw was little squares. Then I downloaded ootp4 and put the league file there and tried opening it, and well since I don't have an ID for it since I only bought ootp5 it doesn't open either. O.K. I'm smart so I tought, "what about uploading the ootp4 file into ootp5". I tried that and everytime it tells me that "path not found". Now I'm not stupid (well maybe a little dumb) and I now how to put in a path ex. "C:\program files\ootp4\la liga mexicana" I even know enought to leave out the .lg. However that doesn't work and I can't take a look at my new team.... Sure I can email my roster untill they change over to ootp5. But (not that I'm lazy) that seems like alot of work, that I rather not have to go through. Anyways, if anybody knows what I'm doing wrong and how I can upload the ootp4 file into ootp5. Or if anybody knows how I can open up ootp4 without having to pay for a whole new license please let me know.

Sorry, but there isn't a way for you to export your v5 rosters for an OOTP4 league. Until the league switches over, you'll have to do it manually.

I know that I can't export from v5 to v4. But I want to tranfer the files from v4 into v5 so that I can play with them in v5 and them e-mail the info into my commish. As you can read above my problem in importing my v4 files into v5 without a v4 license.

Geez, I hope that's not too confussing because I more confussed than ever.

Hyper, "C:\program files\ootp4\la liga mexicana" s/b: "C:\program files\ootp4\la liga mexicana.lg"

Adding the .lg is the most important. Hope this helps . . .
