Draftee contracts

When I get notified that a draftee wasn't happy with my offer and wants me to up it I click on the players name then on the contract tab but when it comes up there is no place to adjust the offer. What I'm I missing?

You have to click on the Negotiate with Drafted Players screen, which appears in the League Menu, not on the player card itself.
