Just lost 100 games played...
...my computer randomly shut off the game, and when I turned it back on, I lost about 100 games played. I'm not super tech-savvy - is there any way to recover the lost games?

Oof. I would use the auto save feature. I don’t believe you can recover anything without that or using backup saves.

Oh man...I am so sorry to hear that. I wish I could help you. There may be someone who knows of a way, but it might take a couple of days for them to read your post.
I know this doesn't help you now, but in the future, while in OOTP you should click on Game > Game Settings > Global Settings... On the right-hand side of the split screen of options at the very top is: Auto-Save & Log Settings. The first option is called Auto-Save. Click that and select an option besides Yearly. Personally, I would suggest choosing Weekly. Then OOTP will automatically save your progress after 7 in-game days continually. I used to keep mind on Monthly, but because I would leave my OOTP running for days and days, mostly sitting in the background, I would create memory crashes and I got sick of losing 10-20+ games every now and then. Good luck!
