FHM6 historical game issue

Thought I would try an historical game with the 2012-13 Oilers, but the game keeps hanging at 99% when creating team history. I have tried other, earlier historical games and they pass this point every time when initializing. I have also verified FHM6 files to make sure there was no issues.
Any help would be appreciated.

How long did you leave it for? Mine took about 2-3 minutes of sitting on 99% before it moved and then it was fine - but systems can vary and yours may take a little longer. Even if it says it's not responding, it likely is. Give it a few minutes and let us know.

I would it say it was close to 10 minutes (on several attempts), and I manually shut it down. I guess starting at a more recent date is more exhaustive on system resources for this setup process? (more historical data?)

Might be the salary cap era. Try something pre-lockout and see if it works better. Though I suppose if you're set on the 2012 Oilers that doesn't help.

Also found that changing too many of the settings can cause problems. I.E. don't change the star rating %weight from stats setting.
