When is the deadline for setting playoff roster?
My St. Louis River Walkers have made the playoffs.
According to the league schedule, the playoffs begin Sept. 27, but my first game isn't until Sept. 29. I decided to make a change on my roster on Sept. 28, but it will not let me. So is the deadline for round one, of what the league deems the first day or the playoffs or the day of your first game? |

That's what I thought.
So why will it not let me make the change? There is a roster spot available, as I have 25 players on it with a 26-player availablilty. The player I want to move onto the roster was on the big-league club for the entire regular season. I moved him off as he had a horrible September, but than realized that left me without a right-handed batter on the bench. So why I cannot put him back on the roster? Message says: "Could not put player on playoff roster! Either the roster is full or this player is ineligible for the playoff roster. ... He was my starting right fielder until August and never got sent down. He should be eligible. |

You could go into commish mode and manually make them eligible for the playoff roster. I had to do that once for a similar bug.

Go into rule settings and see what your post season roster eligibility is. Make sure it is 40 man roster.
