Yaz sold??

just returned home to find I sold my Yaz & don't remember putting him in auction! am I screwed now? anything I can do?


the only thing I can think of is I meant to sell Steve Carlton SP & it was an accident.

I realize there is prob nothing to do. I needed a reason to take a break from the game anyway I guess.

it was. I meant to put Carlton up for auction. I feel kind of bad for whoever got a good deal (though not far off avg sale price). sold him for 11K, which isn't far off, but he was one of my best players.


I kinda get attached to players who won awards for me throughout the years.

yep. even before this, I've always found the attentiveness & customer service the best there is. It's why I will pre-order every year to show my appreciation.

I've been trying to sell Carlton to gain enough PP to complete a FOTF mission. I have it now, but will hold on to it if they are gonna fix it. I'm THIS close to hopefully making Diamond. that Yaz card almost always outperforms most everyone else.

I was upset...NO...make that ANGRY with OOTP on Friday afternoon.

BUT....after talking with Rich, and Kris Jardine, I can say with sincerity,
that they just don't listen, and read/observe here. I CAN say with sincerity that they care.

thanks. I was mad at myself, not sure how it happened. I know for sure I wouldn't sell him, but have been selling almost everyone else trying to finish a FOTF. that was part of my problem, no decent backup to put in his place after selling most everyone else of value.



the PP I received from the sale is gone so they must be working on it. that is quick & much appreciated.

THANKS! yeah man, the OOTP team has been absolutely awesome. they restored a Yaz & didn't hurt the buyer who acted in good faith when buying him (enjoy! he was great for me). still having a problem with Yaz not showing up anywhere on my team though (he was inactive, would activate & it would revert back every new league file), but they did say he is there so I'm waiting it out. RIch was in constant contact with me on Sunday (opening day of the NFL nonetheless - RESPECT) keeping me updated. no complaints whatsoever, I felt like I was bothering him. was following each one of my teams pretty close that day.

won 2 trophies out of 3 championship series appearances & was this close to winning the trophy in the 3rd. made it back to Diamond in both gold leagues so it was a pretty good OOTP day. now the hard part of staying there begins.

the one lost? the league where I messed up & mistakenly sold Yaz. will always wonder what could have been. must have done somewhat OK with a platoon of Tommy Holmes & Len Koenecke (glad they hadn't sold the hundred times I had them up in the AH). not sure their numbers but I made it pretty far so must not have been too bad.

can't stress enough how helpful Rich was, considering it was my gaffe. even if Yaz doesn't return, it's not for a lack of trying on their part.

customer for life. didn't expect, or even need, that above & beyond kind of response. thanks again for checking in, love this game & community. feels like one big family.
