Does the PT season end when the regular baseball season ends or later in the year?

A PT Season runs Monday - Sunday. Sunday is the playoffs, and Monday, everyone is placed in a new league and the next 'season' begins.

It will run after 'real' baseball ends, just as it ran before 'real' baseball started.

The PT Season should end around 1:00 AM (EDT), but there could be play in games that could cause that to run later. Playoffs kick off noon (EDT) Sunday, and usually wrap up around 6 PM (EDT). Playoff 'days' are 15 minutes long, as opposed to the half hour days during the rest of the week.

Thanks Torgonius. I guess I asked the question the wrong way. When is the 2020 series end? Is it when the current MLB season ends in October or do we go to December 31 or when the new version of OOTP
comes out next year? In other words when do our points expire before we start over again?

Each version of PT runs for 2 years or so. The initial version with OOTP 19 just had its servers shut down a couple months ago, and last year's version is still running and will continue into next year. So, you can keep playing with your current PT teams until sometime in 2022, the only real difference being that the auction house will get very quiet very fast when everyone moves to the next version in March.

Edit to add: Each version is a separate universe, so you can play current and previous versions of PT simultaneously, but they are totally independent of each other. Nothing carries over from the old game, and you start fresh with 6 starter packs in the new game.
