Park coordinates... updating and changes through versions
Edit: The header should be "factors", not coordinates, I don't care about those.
Hi all, I have a question about ballpark factors. I'm looking at an old spreadsheet I have with park factors and noticed that Citi Field has had some pretty dramatic changes. I remember way back (maybe when it opened) it was rated 1.0 across the board. In the spreadsheet I have .98/.94/.95/1.25/.9/.8; I stupidly didn't identify the game version but I think v.14 or v.16.
Anyway, not long ago I finished a whole-season playthrough and noticed afterward that in v.21 it's .92/.88/.88/.69/.89/.96. I enjoyed my playthrough, so this isn't really a complaint, but in retrospect guys like Nimmo and McNeil (and especially guys on the Barves) "should" have been hitting more triples (for how I like my game to play anyway).
Again, this isn't a complaint, I'm mostly just wondering if I should still trust this old spreadsheet of park factors or if it's totally useless for v.21. It makes sense that park ratings would get tweaked each year just like anything else, but I'm wondering if each year for new builds the factors are closely aligned to changes in the game build, or more or less plug-n-play (which I think is how the player ratings go, based on ZIPS or whatever). In other words, will old version park factors break v.21 if I use some of them?
Thanks for any thoughts.
