New Random Debut League (Established League Spin Off)

We use OOTP21, first off.

Our 1990s crew has started a new 1961 random debut historical league on the side. For those not familiar, players from 1880-2020 are available and assigned random debut seasons. Our initial draft pool (which we will be drafting from) has players such as Albert Pujols, Jackie Robinson, Tim Keefe, Roger Clemens, Felix Hernandez, Jimmie Foxx, George Davis, etc.

We will be drafting our teams from scratch, so commitment is heavy the first 7-14 days (it's expected you either use Stats+ during the day from PC/home, or you use draft lists). After the initial draft things get a bit easier.

This is an active group that has not missed a sim in 5 seasons in our main 90s league, and everyone is active in exporting. You don't have to be on Slack all day once league starts, but exporting often/checking in is strongly encouraged.

League is 66% full but we do have some openings:

Ratings 20 to 80
No DH
Injuries set to very low
25/40 Roster Size/Expanded Rosters
Waivers/DFA enabled
Trading Allowed (no draft picks)
Playoffs - 1 team from each league

Sim Schedule is Sun-Thurs 7 days at a time

League Financials - MLB Model
All teams start off with equal media contracts, fan interest, market size, fan loyalty
Financials will then play out in game for OOTP based on team performance

Contract Extension Max 7 Years
Salary cannot increase/decrease by more than 25% each year
Only one option per contract (team or player)
Buyout must be 25% minimum of yearly contract

Rookie Draft 12 Rounds and run in June starting in 1962
