Using the fictional faces that DREAM TEAM created as a base, I have made templates using Paint Shop Pro, with multiple layers.
There are 6 regular faces and 3 catcher faces. The catcher faces have 2 layers, one which can be used to change the chest protector color and one to place a color on the chest protector trim and mask trim. These also have eyes. The regular players have many layer that will yet you customize uniforms and modify facial characteristics. The templates have to be used with Paint Shop Pro or a program that lets you have multiple layers on the picture file. The templates have multiple layers, including layers for the following: uniform coloring pinstripes wide stipes collar and lapel stripes the cap color can be changed on the background eyebrow 1 eyebrow 2 mustache 1 mustache 2 mustache 3 on some goatee some goatees have 3 parts beard sideburns glasses Using the color replacement ablility and the layers it is possible to easily create 5-8 individual players for each template. If this works here is a sample of what I have done for my 16 team fictional league. <img src="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/lonniev/templatedisplay.jgp" alt="" />

Dreamsteams is the forum name of the person that has the Metro League web site. He originally posted the fictional faces with out a mouth, nose or eyes on a not easily customizeable bmp file. He has since added eyes etc. to his pics and has a set of about 45 faces. These templates allow for the quick customization of uniforms etc..
If anyone has Paint Shop Pro or another program that uses layers, I would be glad to share the templates with you.

If you want to see what else can be done with a little imagination and fictional faces I've added faces to my fictional players in the Journal section of my Metro Leagues website. Once there click on 'Journal' and then '78 Season.' These are all specially designed faces for the players who make the Journal news at the end of the season.
I still use alot of the generic faces included with the updated fiction man set, but have now begun to create individualized faces for many of the star players in my Metro Leagues. This has added another dimension to my fictional league. |

Hey DREAMTEAMS i finally did the fictional faces for every player on the major roster for the 16 teams in my fictional league, using the templates. It is very cool the way that every news article has an individual player picture with the correct team uniform. Thanks for your effort in starting this.

Glad to hear it, Ghost. Also, thanks again for the added inspiration you've provided.
