Rating changes

This has happened to me every single time a new OOTP comes out. I had OOTP 20 and it worked fine. I got back into playing it again last night, but it had updates. In addition, the new OOTP 21 had come out. I exited the game last night and returned to it this morning. My players rating were randomly changing. I did some experimenting and I noticed that they kept randomly changing for no reason.

This exact same thing happened when I tried playing OOTP 19, after 20 had come out. I feel that there is an update that comes out that causes this bug. I reported it and everything and there was nothing that they could do. Now it is happening all over again. I am very upset.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Update. I do not know how to upload files and so I screwed up the file and had to delete it. I do not know why I cannot just talk to someone on the phone.

How exactly did the ratings change? If you didn't upgrade your league to the new version, then there should be no edits. If you did import your league to the new version, then especially things like scouting reports are handled differently in each edition, so while the actual ratings under the covers are not impacted, the reports you see on players will certainly shift around.

So let us say that the player was an overall 62 with the potential to be a 65. OOTP 20 game. Brand new season with an expanded league. Scouting at 100 percent and scouting reports at the end of the year and beginning of the year. So a player is 62 and 65. After 10 games everything looks fine. I exited the game. When I loaded it the next day, that same player was a 60 overall and a 61 potential. I tested it. I exited the game again and returned later. He was now a 61 overall and and 61 potential. Random rating changes for no reason. When I initially bought the game last year, this did not happen. When I started a new season a couple days ago, it started to happen. I think it is being caused from an update. Is there a way to play the game without having to update it?
