Trying to modify a bb_card XML file...
I've included two images; one of the card as it stands, and a second of the code I'm having trouble with. What I'm trying to do is add a team logo to the card in the HTML, but I think I'm lost as to how to do it. I don't get any error messages with the current code, but the logo doesn't show up either.
Can any of you HTML gurus lead me in the right direction? Ideally, I'd like the logo to appear in the upper left corner of the card. HRB Last edited by HRBaker; 10-08-2022 at 04:21 PM. |

I could never write my own XML file, either. Sorry I can't help you, but I know just what you mean. It's like learning another language to me. Good luck. Wish there was an easier way.

Thanks for the comment. I think most of the old XML guys that created the baseball card formats have since left the building
I'm hoping one of them will come across my post and be willing to give me some direction.

I have added many logos to baseball cards, the last version was OOTP22. This looks a little different. Not sure if OOTP23 changed the baseball cards.
From first glance you don't have a width and height set for the photo. For content I always had them in the image folder and was able to do content="ROY" and it will bring in the file name ROY. I don't think you should have align ="center" as that's what the x and y is for, positioning. Again not sure if 23 changed it and this is coming from memory. I can check on it later tonight. Should be an easy fix to figure out, I have done many logos on the front and back of existing cards.

Try the below line where you have the highlighted line. If it works, you can adjust the placement of the logo with the x and y coordinates and the size of course with the width and height. I took this from a fhomess xml file. I use a lot of his cards.
Hopefully this helps, let me know how it goes. <ELEMENT type="image" x="11" y="25" zorder="5" width="35" height="35" facegen_zoom="random" content="TEAM_LOGO" />

You don't need the facegen_zoom tag. That's just for the player pics.
