adding or removing leagues in historic mode

I wish there was an option that would allow you to create a second league any year you want and also be able to fold the league or merge the two leagues together
As it is now if you disable the historical evolution in 1917 you are stuck with the NHL and pchl forever

I think you can essentially put the PCHA on pause, can't you? I mean you can't technically delete it or fold it, but I think you can set it to inactive on July 1 of a given year.

I do imagine they'll eventually add it, given this is a feature in OOTP for years. It's just a matter of when they can do it. The team usually prefers to fix what's there first before they add new features because those new features could come with their own share of bugs and issues.

Though it's certainly something I'd like, too. Being able to keep the WHA alive without having to lose all automatic expansions down the road, or just make your own secondary rival league instead would be cool

Yes a rival league and an ability to have them compete for the Stanley Cup, as an option you can enable or disable.

Also the ability to fold and merge leagues in a way that teams can take their players with them. I'd love to merge the WHA earleir and have WInnipeg take all thier players with them, and have Houston adn GOrdie Howe go to.

Or Indy with Gretzky and Cincy with Messier.

I agree with the sentiments here. Turning evolution off and keeping the leagues around is a huge step, but hopefully just the first.
