For timeframe, want something MLB-like from about start of April to about start of October? Want an All-Star Game?

An issue here is that with 5-team divisions only playing division games then one team would always need to be on a bye. That could be done, but it would make the schedule 25% longer.

One option with teams not having byes like that would be 16H/16A against each division opponent plus another 16H/16A split up among other teams. Could be done through 10 series each against interdivision opponents. One of the five teams in each division would be playing someone from another division while the other four are playing series between each other.

Thinking about this concept a little bit more I think 156 game schedule with 24 games against each divisional opponent and 4 games each against the other 15 teams in the league. General MLB time frame Mid March. All star game maybe at the 2/3rd point of the season or something like that.
