Historical Normalized HELP
I am trying to autoplay several decades. What I would like is to guarantee that
* each year 154 games are scheduled
* each year teams use a specific year's strategy settings (say, 2000, just for an example)
* each team has 24 man rosters, with reasonable numbers of pitchers
* each team (especially as expansion kicks in) follows these guidelines
I can get the first year to work well. But I can't seem to get the settings to stick. Clearly, it is a setting related to year-by-year updates, but I have LEAGUE SETTINGS > STATS & AI > IMPORT SETTINGS > AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST LEAGUE STRATEGY unchecked.
On that same screen, the typical starting rotation size is set to 5 man rotation, but generated CM's still end up with 2 or 3 man rotations.
Similarly, schedule lengths shrink back to 19th century norms, instead of staying at 154 games.
Clearly, I can edit all this in between each season, but what I'd like is to play several decades, several times so I can test out other settings.
