Need Help - Corona League Setup
I am trying to setup a new Custom Game based on the new MLB proposed rules for 2020 and need some assistance. One of the new rules is a 30 man roster with a 20 man taxi squad.
I set the active rosters to 30 with a reserve roster of 20 during the game setup process. MLB doesn't think Minor League games will be played, so hence the 20 man reserve for a total of 50 players. I deleted all minor leagues during the setup process. However, when the new game loads 26 real MLB players are on the active roster, and the rest of the players are fictional bringing the total to around 38 players. The reserve roster has 0 players on it initially. How can I get real MLB players up to the 50 man total in my game? |

What i wouldve done would be to set up a normal MLB save with all minors, a completely normal save. Then delete the minor leagues SCHEDULES, not the minors themselves, and then change the active roster to 30 and reserve roster to 20, after the game was set up normally.
With what you did, I believe deleting the minors deleted all the minor league players with it, leaving just the MLB players that are on the 26 man roster by default. And then by changing the roster sizes to 30 and 20, the game added fictional players to fill the gaps. |

Thanks, however, I don't think the option to setup reserve rosters is available if minor leagues are present in the game.
