What Is Going On?

Ok, so this is my first time in PT, I'm in a rookie league, having done my time in the feeder, where, btw, I worked on improving my roster and buying cards.)
So now, my Sand Gnats are on a 23 game winning streak, my record is 49-13, and I lead the league in most categories, both defence and offence.
How the hell is this possible? Have I just picked the right combination of cards that work really really well together, or does this happen in the lower leagues? Im just surprised that I seem to be running away it.

Thanks folks!

Sounds like you're doing a good job picking players and setting your strategies. Rookie league is also probably pretty weak, since the good teams would have risen up the ranks by now. It's possible quite a few of your opponents are zombie teams run by inactive owners. Don't worry about the lack of challenge - you will certainly find the difficulty ramps up quickly as you rise through the ranks.

I had your exact experience last week. Cruised to an easy playoff berth in Rookie. This week, I'm getting ****-hammered in the Stone League. Has taken three days and about 20,000 PP, but I think I'm turning a corner now. Doubtful I'll get promoted, but I think I can avoid getting relegated back to Rookie.

I'm in a gold league and there are over 20 bagwell's, berra's, suzuki's and cano's starting for every team. Enjoy the bottom, it's like playing a mirror every week up here.
