Ballpark Effects
I am in the process of creating a stealing and defense team. Most of my team is 80+ in steal rating and and 65+ in Defense. What are the ideal ballpark effects for my team.
Also more generally, how should a lefty heavy staff factor into L/R splits? |

Deep field so they can't cover you but you can cover them.

Lefty staff pairs up nicely with a lefty-heavy offense. So you're looking at a LH Singles-Gap park (move the walls way out, lh singles 1.1, HR .9.
Need OF with Range, to cover a lot of OF territory. Speed matches up with range, too. Take walks; obp will be important to you, high EYE. GAP for your extra base hits. CONtact, naturally. Your pitchers, apart from being lefties, need CON and STU. You can get away with slightly weaker MOV, because your park helps keep the dingers under control. You can get away with more flyball outs, too, cause of all the OF range. Last edited by Lemandria; 05-02-2020 at 07:26 AM. |
