Just had a player reach via catcher's interference, which of course is charged as an error to the catcher and no at-bat to the hitter. Therefore, it should be treated like any other error in determining whether or not the runs are charged as earned against a pitcher.
Here's the PxP from the inning:
So if not for the catcher's interference, he would have had a 1-2-3 inning, and therefore the runs he allowed on the homer should not be earned. Or if I'm wrong and catcher's interference is treated differently (as a "no play" with respect to the pitcher in terms of the inning being kept alive, since the pitcher didn't "retire" the batter as with a normal reached on error), the run scored by the runner should at least not be earned.
Yet Mooney is charged with 2 earned runs here, instead of 0 or 1. I'm not sure which is correct, but I know that 2 isn't, so perhaps this can be addressed in OOTP22.
