Negro Leaguers/random debut

I want to import some negro league greats into my random debut league. I know I need to do this manually but how? Also, do I need to edit some ratings? I think I saw some people saying they performed poorly in their leagues. Also, what about about Japanese greats? Can they be imported as well?

For Negro League players, you need to find their IDs on the .csv file in the database folder. When you import the player on the Free Agent screen, you will want to use that plus whatever year they start playing (e.g., for Josh Gibson, his ID is gibson002jos, and Seamheads shows him starting play in 1930). Also, you will want to lower the Adjust options (or, as Spritze calls them, the "make bad" options) down low enough so as not to affect the player. Once the player has been imported, further adjustments are at your discretion

As for Japanese players -- there is nothing for them (or, indeed for any Asian players) in the database unless they played in MLB or MiLB at this time. You'll have to either create them manually or use Spritze's old database (which was last updated for I believe v17 and therefore is missing some data that the current game uses) and adjust them manually anyway.

What do you mean by the Adjust options? Will that effect other players in the game?

The Adjust Hitters/Pitchers Options are at the bottom of the import window, and they only affect the player you're importing at the time.

I don't see any Negro Leagues players in the players.csv file. How do I find the list of those players' ids? That is the only csv file i see.

I imported Gibson just fine with the id you gave me.
