Purchasing Players Amount doesn't scale
During league setup on the Finances tab, there is the option to "Allow Players to be purchased by other leagues." If enabled, I really think this amount should scale along with the percentage of inflation set for the respective league. Right now it's static, and a pain to keep changing manually to properly keep up with the other inflating finances. Is this something that we can quickly squeeze into a patch?

They don't use flat price modeling but it is usually based upon contract and signing bonus of the individual player. Then depending on how much those things are there is a percentage based to the originating team/league. Example MLB's current deal with Mexico is Major League teams that sign a player from a Mexican club will owe that club a one-time release fee of 15% of the total guaranteed value of the MLB contract or 35% of the signing bonus if it’s a minor league deal. But MLB buying players from USA Independent Leagues is pretty cheap. I think David Peralta was bought by the Diamondbacks for $4000. So in the game the USA Indy leagues are defaulted to 250k that honestly probably could stay like that forever. No matter what it is such a little amount that it means nothing. But some of the real leagues need better posting and buyout rules to get inline with what the MLB is currently doing. I would also like to see the an option rule for Cuba based upon the real deal mlb and cuba had last year before congress vetoed it. I mean if we can turn off 3 bat pitchers for modern universe and activate DH for national league we should have an easy 1 click option for cuba. I try to make it real based on that overturned policy but again its about individual contracts and signing bonus and %'s so it is hard to replicate. |

Yes, but in this case I’m not necessarily trying to model any current real world functionality. I play historical fictional. So for minor leagues that are attached to parent leagues that import finances, this works fine and seems to scale accordingly each year under the “rules” tab.
However, for my independent leagues which are not attached to a parent, are not importing finances, and have a set inflation percentage – The purchase fee price is not scaling accordingly under the “finances” tab. I’m simply asking that if the league inflation is set to say 3% each year in the finances tab, that the purchase fee price increases by that same 3% each year as well. I realize it’s not much of a biggie if starting in the modern era, because the purchase price seems suitably high enough. But when dealing with finances evolving from the early 1900s, that static purchase price quickly becomes less impactful unless manually updating it each year or so.
